No Featured Stories!

I have some bad news. Since there were only four stories and there were four council members there was a four way tie for first. But since that was everybody I'm not going to give anymore points. Sorry!

New Aspect: Coins

Hello again, I am now making a new aspect of the game by making coins. You get coins by winning battles and by battling. You now get 100 coins for battling someone and 200 coins for winning a battle. You also get 100 coins for writing a story and 200 for your story being featured. You get these along with points to add to your stats. You can use coins to by things in the shop, which is coming soon. You can get one point to add to your stats for 1000 coins. You can also buy abilities and something super secret that I shall not speak of. By the way, the coins idea was originally becfl102's idea. Check out his blog at http://www.anibattles.blogspot.com

New Aspect: Abilities!

I have decided to add a new aspect to the game. Abilities! Abilities are natural talents that your owls have. They can aid you in battle at certain times. Each players owl can only have two abilities, the first ability can be any of these (except for immortality) and you don't have to pay for it, but you have to pay for your second ability (in virtual money of course). You can buy as many abilities as you want but you can only have two active at a time. Here is the list of abilities and what they do:

Spiky Shield: Take as many points as you want away from your attack and add them onto your defense for this battle.

Defensive sword: Spiky Shield vise versa.

Steal the bacon: Steal your opponent's ability for this battle, your opponent still has their ability

Stealth Mode: Double your attack stats for this battle, but lower your defense by half (if your defense is an odd number and can't be split into two, agree on a number close to half with tour opponent)

Lightning Speed: Attack first, If you and your opponent both have Lightning Speed it cancels out.

Power Shield: If your opponent uses any type of ability to raise their owl's attack, disregard it.

Power Sword: Same as Power Shield, but vise versa.

Double the Loot!: Double the amount of rewards you get after a battle or a special event.

Poisonous Spikes: If your opponent uses any type of ability, subtract half of your attack from their defense before the start of the battle.

Immortality: You automatically win this battle, you cannot pick this as your first ability and you cannot use this in special events. Once you use this ability it goes away until you can by it again.

The First Hiccup

Hello again, It has just come to my attention that readers cannot post comments. From now on I think everything will have to be done by email. If you think you can help in any way or have any questions please email me. My email is jackson10898@gmail.com

                                                                            thanks for your patience, Jackson

Welcome to the Orange Owl game!

Hi Everyone, This is a new game I have created called Orange Owl. I just came up with the idea for this game today so please forgive me if there are a little hiccups at first! In this game each person gets one Orange Owl, you cannot get any more, and you cannot get any less. Your Orange Owl's stats will start out as attack: 1 and defense: 1. I will keep a record of everyone's statistics, so don't try anything. You can improve your stats by writing a story about your owl. You can only write one story per week. If your story gets featured you get to add two points to your owl in any way you want. For example, you could split the two points between attack and defense or you could make one stronger than the other. It is possible for more than one story to be featured. If you write a story but it doesn't get featured you get to add one point to your owl's stats. If you don't choose to write a story you have the opportunity to battle. But if you have already written a story during that same week you cannot battle, and vise versa. You can only do one per week. You don't get to control your owl in battle. It's just dependent on who's attack is strong enough to lower their opponents defense to zero. I will email your stats to you weekly, but you only get to see your own stats. I will post rankings on the blog, but keep in mind that rankings are only dependent on how many battles a player has won. Not their stats. If you want to get started by getting an Orange Owl simply write a request in the comments below.
